The Moroccan Football Federation has officially filed a complaint to FIFA authorities about refereeing decisions in their 2-0 semifinal loss to France.
Recall that the African champions, Morocco played against World cup champions, France on Wednesday, 14 Dec for the final race. Unfortunately Morocco lost 2-0 to France.
Shortly after the match, Moroccan Football Federation raised concerns regarding refereeing decisions which they believe spoiled Moroccan chances in the game.
The Moroccan Football Federation addressing two major incidents in the match believes that the referee, Cesar Arturo wrongly signalled a foul by Boufal instead of a foul by Hernandez and a penalty against France when both players clashed in the French area.
Also, Moroccan side should have been awarded another penalty when Tchouameni appeared to bring down a Moroccan player during a Moroccan corner kick.
